Dino Vera, Vocalist / Keyboards and Drummer, has played with pop icons Jimi Hendrix and James Taylor. In his own words, he “got his Master’s in Music Playing on Bourbon Street in New Orleans,” playing with such notables as Ellis Marsalis (father of Wynton and Branford Marsalis), the Meters and Fats Domino. His Vocal skills are as multi-faceted as his experience. This allows him to Sing and Play Rhythm and Blues hits in a definitely Ray Charles-tinged Soulful Groove, and also Jazz Standards, New Orleans Style Blues and Multi Generational Dance Grooves.

Dino’s Vocal styling is Soulful and Personal; filled with Warmth and Power. These credentials have paved the way for a recently completed highly acclaimed and successful series of Jazz & Blues Concerts in France.

He played music at The Lodge at Pebble Beach for 14 years, and more recently The Palazzo, The Venetian, and The Trump Towers, in Las Vegas. He also went on the road to exotic locales such as St. Martin in the Caribbean, and Europe.

The Monterey Blues Festival Main Stage featured Dino Vera in a Tribute to Ray Charles.
